Why Breaking Your Habit Is A Good Sign?

Why does it happen that at some point habits or routines break? Can this even be beneficial for you?


In order to break a habit you obviously have to have one for quite a while before you can say that you broke a habit. But for me it happens sometimes that I feel the urge to break a habit because I need to change the way I think and to let some creativity in.


Why does it happen that at some point habits or routines break? Can this even beneficial for you? I need to create new ways of thinking and get creative and maybe rearrange my priorities and habits (or my I rearrange my furniture to actually create physical change in my environment). So I rethink everything I have done and thought before.


That's something I appreciate a lot, the questioning phase, to question the fundamentals of my being and acting. But that only happens and is beneficial when I lived for a certain time in that specific lifestyle or with a specific routine.


So maybe in order to have have a good routine and progress it is necessary to break a routine? What do you think?
